Transparent Background

Hi All,

I would like to make my slide show have a transparent background. I'm running at an 800px width and alot of my images are vertical aligned instead of horizontal which as you would know, leaves big gaps on the left and right hand sides.

I've tried appling the css hex colour which was provided in the transparent folder sample but it gave me a purple background instead :(

So, all in all, how can I make the background transparent?

Thanks,
Chris.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I would really like to figure it out.

Edit: I should mention the area of my site in which the slideshow is presented has a gradient background so that's why I can't use a set colour.

Chris,

In your config file, try something like this:
     <configuration width="800" height="600" background="Transparent" windowless="true">

You can really go for broke and make everything transparent:
     <module type="NavigationTray">
          <option name="background" value="Transparent" />
          <option name="albumViewer.background" value="Transparent" />
     </module>

hi

The Other way to do it simply change the Background to white!

<configuration width="530" height="330" background="white">

This also works!

Thanks
