how to resize the thumbnail?

i have an image in a slide show 700 by 1200 px. In the thumbnail, the top part of the image gets cut off. anyone know how i can resize the thumbail so it doesnt cutoff

Try The Configuration file in the sample folder

the code sample shud be something like this I tried and it worked for me
